'Chronology - Story Seasons' is an introduction to Dan Pettitt's previously unreleased life's work, titled 'Chronology'. 'Chronology' includes over 100 home recorded albums, mostly lo-fi and demo like. In 1993, inspired by Bob Dylan's discography and 'The Bootleg Series Vol. 1-3', Dan taught himself acoustic guitar and began making home recordings. Celebrating over 30 years, this back catalogue is now being released.

Available to stream and download on most streaming platforms 'Chronology - Story Seasons' is a ten part compilation featuring selected tracks from 1993 to 2023. Included with this release is a shorter sampler including The Early Years and The Middle Years. Dan will be releasing all of his albums in chronological order gradually over the next few years, with a selection of signed Cds available from this website (tbc).

'Chronology' works as an arthouse project, presenting Dan's catalogue as a visual artist would, including ideas and sketches alongside masterpieces. 'Chronology' is an audio diary of Dan's life documented in chronological order by album and year. These albums explore the development and evolution of Dan as a recording artist, from early beginnings on simple tape decks and Tascam 4 Track Porto Studios to more recent digital productions.

Included in these are concept albums, double albums, re-recorded 'hits' compilations and boxsets. Dan's work tells a story of successes and failures, highs and lows, struggles and achievements of a personal and musical journey …
